🍽️ Indianapolis | A Hidden Gem You’ve Been Missing!
This weekend I discovered a surprisingly delicious restaurant many of you might already know – The Cheesecake Factory! 🎉 I visited the one right across from Starbucks in Keystone. Funny enough, after 5-6 years of shopping at Keystone, my friends and I never stepped in – we thought it was just a dessert spot 🍰, feared American-level sweetness (Walmart cake trauma is real 😂), and the building’s vaguely-style exterior didn’t help. But wow, we’ve been missing out! Ambience: The interior is glamorous – kinda golden and luxe 🏛️, with comfy chairs. Our server was polite and even greeted/served the ladies first – big plus! 👏 What we tried: 1️⃣ Appetizer: Avocado Eggroll 🥑 Highly recommended online – and it delivered! Southeast Asian vibes with a tangy sauce that cuts the richness 🍃 Crispy outside, creamy inside – not oily at all!$15.5 2️⃣ Main: Cajun Jambalaya Pasta 🍤🍝 “Jambalaya” = mixed goodness! Loaded with shrimp, chicken, tomatoes, and peppers 🌶️ Cajun-seasoned + customizable spice level (thanks to paprika and green onions on the side) The chicken was so tender we thought it was fish at first 😂 Tastes oddly like Henan steamed noodles – in a good way! Huge portion – shareable! $25.5 Next time: Trying the Bang Bang Shrimp & Rice! 3️⃣ Dessert: Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake 🍓 Their cheesecake is legendary – people were lining up at 9 PM for takeout! Pro tip: Don’t mistake “Original” for this – it’s the second one on the menu! Creamy, not too sweet, with fresh strawberries – a rare find in the U.S.! So good we’ll grab it every time we pass by! $11.5 Verdict: Definitely worth a visit! Don’t let the name or exterior fool you 😉 #Indianapolis #PurdueEats #HiddenGems #CheesecakeFactory #FoodReview #IndyFood #DessertLovers 🥘🍰📸
