π½οΈ Indianapolis | One Day Food Journey
Spent Thanksgiving in Indy β only Asian restaurants were open, but these two were solid picks! π¦β¨ π°π· π Ma Maβs Korean Restaurant A Korean BBQ spot with menus in Korean and English π Special Beef: High-quality meat, well-marinated π₯©π₯ Bibimbap: Classic and satisfying π₯’ Dry Cold Noodles: Unique twist with pear β refreshing! πβοΈ (The pear was delicious, but the meat was too tough π ) 12 Side Dishes: Highlights include bean sprouts, savory tofu, sweet braised potatoes (so soft!), and squid strips that taste like spicy strips πΆοΈπ¦! Other kimchi varieties were great too. π¨π³ π Tian Fu Asian Bistro Chinese restaurant with an open kitchen (you can watch them cook! π¨π³π₯) Dry Pot Fish: Highly recommend! Spicy, numbing, and fragrant with amazing bamboo shoots πΆοΈπ Pan-Fried Pork Buns: Crispy outside, juicy inside π₯π¦ Tofu Meatballs: Unique β fried tofu outside, chicken-tofu filling inside π§ Chive Pancakes: Okay, not exceptional π₯¬ Stir-Fried Pork Kidney: Looks good but too gamey and not tender enough π¬ Fun moment: The waiter secretly told us the soup dumplings were βjust okayβ β no need to order ππ Hope heβs there next time! Verdict: Both worth trying! Indy, see you next time ποΈπ #WinterEats #MeatLovers #Indianapolis #IndyFood #FoodDiary #KoreanBBQ #ChineseFood #ThanksgivingEats π₯π₯πΈ
