Here’s my personal roundup of the best eats in Ithaca — tried, tasted, and totally recommended! 🌟 Le Café Cent-Dix French cuisine — my absolute favorite in Ithaca! 🥩 Must-try: Steak Frites + their excellent red wine 🍷 🌟 Taste of Thai Even better than some Thai places back home! 🍛 Highlights: Green Curry, Tom Yum Soup, Mango Sticky Rice 🥭 🌟 Thai Basil Another Thai option, but doesn’t compare to Taste of Thai. 🌟 Mia Delicious roasted duck and a grilled pork dish (forgot the name 😅). Their desserts are amazing — ask for the separate dessert menu! 🍮 🌟 Mercato Love their complimentary bread! 🥖 Great steaks, fish, and desserts. They even gave a special Valentine’s treat! 💖 🌟 KoKo A Korean spot in Collegetown — awesome wings and Stew Beef Soup 🍲 Basically my college cafeteria 😂 🌟 Plum Tree Guys: go for the Bento Box — huge portions! Sukiyaki is good but a bit sweet. Skip the sashimi — not the freshest. 🌟 Sumo My top Japanese pick 🍤 Must-order: Shrimp Hibachi, Lobster Tempura Roll — all their rolls are delicious! 🌟 Saigon Kitchen Pho here is a solid 10/10! 🍜 Their wings are great too. 🌟 Hawi Ethiopian Ethiopian hand-eating experience — no utensils! Use the sour injera bread to scoop up dishes 🫓. An acquired taste, but my friends love it! 🌟 Mix Kitchen Good brunch spot — highly recommend Chicken & Waffle 🧇 Pancakes are huge (some have cinnamon, so be cautious!). 🌟 The Heights Choco Cake 🍫, Beef Short Rib, Truffle Fries — all winners! 🌟 Texas Roadhouse Chain steakhouse — go for Medium, not Medium Well (it gets tough). Sauces are very salty 🧂 🌟 Establishment Run by Cornell Hotel School 🎓 Reserve online — menu changes often. Lamb chops are my favorite, but quality can vary 😅 🌟 Thomas Smith Was known as the best steak in town — some praised its complexity, but I found it too charred.
