🍽️ Nashville Food Review | Etch Restaurant

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flavor | Service | Atmosphere While much of Nashville feels like a small town, downtown’s gleaming high-rises bring a touch of urban energy — and Etch fits right in. The crowd here seems split between post-work professionals and business dinners, yet the vibe remains warm and buzzing. 💼✨ We ordered three dishes — two of them Etch signatures — and each was remarkable: 🌿 Roasted Cauliflower Sounds simple… but the magic is in the dips: truffled pea purée, feta cream, and roasted red pepper sauce. Each sauce is distinct yet balanced — no overpowering truffle or funkiness. Perfect with the crispy cauliflower, mixed or separate! 🍤 Octopus & Shrimp Bruschetta So refreshing! Thinly sliced octopus and shrimp over arugula, tomatoes, and crispy bread. One bite delivers layers of texture with bright, tangy, umami notes. 👌💥 🦌 Venison A rare find! I remembered loving deer meat in Japan — more tender than beef — and Etch’s did not disappoint. Cooked medium, it melted like butter. The sides were just as intriguing: a cheese-filled filo dumpling, okra, olive tapenade, cipollini onion, and apricot jam. The photo shows half a portion — the full dish is twice as generous! 🍸 Claw & Feather Cocktail My only miss — but an interesting one! Pomegranate, grapefruit, lime, with jalapeño cream and sea salt. The first sip was explosive 🧨, but later it turned mostly spicy and salty. Still, the cocktail menu is creative — lots of promising options! 🛎️ Service was excellent — our server was attentive and even fixed our wobbly table 🛠️😄.
