☕️ Pittsburgh Coffee | 7 Cafes in One Go 🤎

A totally subjective roundup—some loves, some mehs, and one big skip 😅 ✨ Commonplace Coffee Probably the most locations in PGH—consistent quality, great beans. This one at Rockwell Park opened last winter—spacious, bright, perfect for hanging out or getting work done. ✨ Constellation Coffee Low-key & niche—ideal for coffee geeks who care about flavor notes. Tell the owner what you like, and he’ll recommend something perfect! ✨ Inkwell Coffee Shop My go-to morning spot ❤️ A true neighborhood cafe—locals, dog walkers, shoppers taking a break. Dog-friendly 🐶 —bring your pup! ✨ Cafe Comingo Full of plants 🌿 and supports 100+ local businesses. Known for cold brew & latte flights—taste four flavors at once! They also have seasonal specials and board games—chill vibe with friends. ✔️ Arriviste Coffee Solid but not a regular for me. Famous for their purple sweet potato latte 🍠 (friends rave—I still need to try!). Owner loves Japanese minimalist style. ✔️ Mechanic Coffee Shop A bit out of the way—small, grab-and-go kind of spot. Love their nitro cold brew—fizzy, strong, and smooth! 💣 Tolve Opened in late 2020 as "Tonic Coffee"—specializes in coffee + cocktail mixes. Tried it at launch—wasn’t impressed. Gave it a second shot recently…still a no 😬 Cortado was unexpectedly sour, service felt rushed, vibe was try-hard. Downstairs: order coffee | Upstairs: gallery + one long table. Not my cup of tea—literally. This is just a start—check my food guide for more coffee spot reviews!
