🌸🍁🏞️ Rural Japan 🏞️🍁🌸
🤔 Can there still be people who don't know? Think about it, rural Japan is the epitome of the #JapanTravel off-the-beaten-path vibe! ✅ Let's plan the #Shirakawa-go and #Namioka Coast route this time~⏰ About a week's time, starting with a direct flight from home to #Nagoya's Chubu Centrair International Airport, then following the route from Nagoya to Gero Onsen, Kanazawa, Toyama Takaoka, and finally #Tokyo for two or three days of eating, drinking, and exploring, ✈️ before returning home from Tokyo's airport! 🍁 Enjoying the Red Leaves 🍁 From November to December, when you're in Japan, you definitely can't miss the red leaf season! So, we're hitting all the spots like Kōrakukan, Ōyada Shrine, Monet's Pond, Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri Village, and Kenrokuen. Among them, Kōrakukan, with its large scale of red leaf trees, hosts a Red Leaf Festival every November with lighting, band parades, and wish lanterns – it's a photo-taking paradise! The atmosphere of night-time maple viewing is simply unbeatable! Speaking of Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri Village, many friends come for the dreamy and stunning winter illuminations. In fact, in November, the mountains adorned with red leaves and the cute Gassho-style houses make the entire village look like a fairy tale village with a painterly texture. Additionally, my favorite spot, Ōyada Shrine, has nearly three thousand red leaf trees, including some maple trees over a thousand years old. Every November, the shrine also hosts a red leaf festival where you can taste local specialties like Gohei Mochi. 🎨 Other Arrangements 🎨 🍭 Mino City, various paper art festivals, such as Washi Lantern Exhibitions 🍭 Gero Onsen, soaking in traditional Japanese open-air hot springs at Yunoshimakan 🍭 Kanazawa, tea house street, gold leaf inlay and gold-foil craftwork 🍭 Takaoka, exploring the hometown of Doraemon's author, and taking pictures with the blue 🍭 Following traditional craftsmen for a copper/tinware jewelry crafting experience 🍭 Namioka Coast, the combination of snow-capped peaks and a seaside train is truly breathtaking 🍭 Tokyo, Akihabara + Kaminarimon Senso-ji Temple + SKY city night view 🍽️ Itinerary Cuisine 🍽️ 🍗 Nagoya's century-old eel restaurant, a must-try natural eel in November 🍗 Hida beef, as famous as Kobe beef, with a full set of ways to enjoy it 🍗 Toyama Takaoka's signature Omakase cuisine (Michelin-starred) 🍗 Tokyo's mini sushi making, one bite at a time, super cute 🏨 Itinerary Accommodation 🏨 We'll be staying in 5-star city hotels and traditional Japanese hot spring inns throughout the trip! Among them, the #Yunoshimakan in Gero Onsen is nearly a century old! Although the inn is very traditional, ♨️ it feels a bit like the home of "Yubaba" from Miyazaki's works. The inn is also quite large, with winding internal garden views that you can enjoy for a long time. Additionally, in Tokyo, we've arranged the highly requested #Toranomon Azabu Edition! The Tokyo Toranomon Azabu Edition, compared to Ginza Edition, offers an irreplaceable view of the Tokyo Tower (🙈 there's no group hotel with a better view), and you can capture the full panorama of the Tokyo Tower from indoors! Plus, the location is also excellent, with subway access right outside, including the Hibiya Line and Kanda Station. #JapanTravel #JapanOffTheBeatenPath #JapanRedLeafSeason
