🍽️ Salt Lake City – You’re Surprisingly DELICIOUS! 🎉
Every spot here earns at least a 4/5 stars from me — all seriously satisfying! 🥐 Eva’s Bakery A charming French-style brunch spot perfect for a relaxing break. Their pastries are INSANE — especially the Kouign Amann and buttery croissants 🥐✨ Savory picks like croissant sandwiches, eggs Benedict, and flatbreads are also fantastic. (Canelé was sold out — next time!) 🍜 Pho 33 A must-eat in SLC — if this place were in NYC, I’d be here weekly! 😂 Generous beef portions that almost outnumber the noodles — aromatic broth, tender meat, total comfort in a bowl. 🍳 Over The Counter Cafe A cozy American diner with an open kitchen. Their loaded omelets are huge and flavorful — I loved The Holly with hollandaise sauce! 🔥 Jiang Nan Ren Jia My favorite Chinese meal of the trip! Top two dishes: Jiangxi-style stir-fried rice noodles & pork belly with tofu knots. Also great: sliced beef with pepper, stir-fried lettuce, chicken pot, and sour cabbage fish. 🍛 Curry Connect A 4.8-rated Indian gem — the aroma alone tells you you’re in the right place! Huge portions, only ~$10 per person. We loved: butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, lamb saag, shrimp coconut korma — all with garlic or butter naan. Too good to talk! 🤐🧄 🥢 L & P Bakery Cafe A Cantonese dim sum spot near the Indian restaurant. Must-order: clay pot rice with crispy bottom, wok-fried beef chow fun full of wok hei 🍳🔥 Dim sum like har gow, siu mai, spareribs, and beef balls are solid — though the scallion chicken was a bit gamey. 🍲 Eggs in the City Another popular brunch spot — their Mexican-inspired skillets are unique and tasty. Sweet & savory combos across the menu, fluffy pancakes, crispy toasts — all well-executed! 🍜 Jinya Ramen Bar A local friend’s go-to ramen joint. Their soft-boiled egg is perfection! 🥚 Try the spicy cream vegan ramen with extra meat, egg, and bamboo — rich and flavorful (a bit salty, but worth it). #SLCfood #SaltLakeCityEats #FoodGuide #UtahDining #HiddenGems
