❤️ Stunning Library in Paris
✨ There are many worthwhile attractions in Paris, and the Richelieu branch of the National Library of France, known as the most beautiful library in Paris, is especially worth visiting. I was also amazed by its beauty, and best of all, it's free! Entering the Richelieu Library feels like stepping through the threshold of French history. The origins of this library can be traced back to the eighteenth century. The architect created the astonishing Salle Labrouste, in which he used metal, glass, and pottery, drawing inspiration from Byzantine-style domes to design the magnificent ceiling; ✨ He also built the central reading room, where the skylight illuminates its beautiful metal structure. The library's second hall, Salle Ovale, is a large open-air theater-style room. The glass roof bathes the entire room in sunlight! Reading in this library is like being immersed in a Harry Potter movie set. Operating Hours: Tuesday: 10am-8pm / Wednesday to Sunday: 10am-6pm / Closed on Mondays Key Points: The library can be reached by taking the Metro Line 3 (Bourse), Line 1, Line 7, and Line 14 (Palais-Royal-Musée du Louvre, Pyramides). For persons with disabilities, it is best to enter from 58 Rue Richelieu, not from 5 Rue Vivienne. Upon entering the library, you can go through the small door to the left of the front desk without any ID, and there is free WiFi, with many books available for borrowing. #GreatPlaceInParis #France #LibraryRecommendation #Paris #ParisLibraryRecommendation
