🌳✈️ What I Did in Ann Arbor: LGA → DTW
After spending so much time in New York, I felt like I needed a reset. So I went to Ann Arbor, Michigan over spring break to visit a friend—and wow, my soul feels cleansed 🙌✨ Ann Arbor low-key gave me Canadian Victoria vibes (just with fewer trees) and brought back all those high school feels… 🛫 Wednesday 10:30 AM @ LGA From entrance to gate in just 1 hour—super efficient! Security made me take off my shoes, but the floors were clean 👟✅ Used Delta’s e-boarding pass—so smooth. Love Delta 💙 🏛️ University of Michigan - Ann Arbor Campus This campus is HUGE. My friend walked me from corner to corner… diagonally 😂 On the first day—sunny and gorgeous—we crossed the Law School’s big lawn. So many students though… I got socially anxious and stuck to the edges 🫣 Too many college kids in one place—is this a real phobia? 🛍️ The M Den The ultimate school spirit store! As an art school kid, I finally experienced what real university pride feels like 🎓💛 Kang’s Korean Restaurant 🍚 Honestly… better than a lot of NYC spots these days. NYC restaurants are getting lazy 😤 Tell me some actually good ones in NY!! 🍦 DQ & Ding Tea 🧋 Revisited my high school favorites: Ding Tea’s Hokkaido Milk Tea is still chef’s kiss 🤌 But just like in high school—it still keeps me up all night 😅 🥖 Costco Chicken Bake So much chicken inside… so much cheese… so crispy… so salty… so worth it 🥴 🎬 The State Theatre Beautiful neon lights… with a Target right below 😂 Watched Dune 2 twice. I’m obsessed. 🏞️ THE PARKS!! The water is so blue!! Took 2000 photos of trees and squirrels 🌳📸🐿️ So peaceful—I didn’t want to leave. 🛬 Sunday 5 PM @ DTW From door to gate in 30 min—Detroit airport coming through! But American Airlines’ security floor was nasty 😷 Not a fan. Also took a day trip to Detroit—more on that later 📝 Back in NYC now… glad it’s sunny ☀️ #Umich #AnnArborLife #CollegeVibes #SpringBreak #TravelDiaries
