🏔️ Whistler Ski Trip Guide: Food, Stay & Snow
Just wrapped up a 4-day/3-night ski trip to Whistler 🎿 Here’s a little guide to help fellow skiers eat, stay, and play well! 🍽️ DINNER RECS: 1️⃣ il Caminetto 🇮🇹 Carpaccio di manzo: thinly sliced marinated beef + crispy flatbread — so good! Lobster linguine: whole lobster pieces in creamy pasta 🦞 Tagliatelle bolognese: beef ragout with rich red sauce 🍝 2️⃣ Wild blue 💙 Tried their pre-fix menu (good value!). Oysters + potato leek velouté soup Tuna tataki + truffle cavatelli Cod + duck breast 🦆 Everything was solid. Wine pairing recommended! Friendly service, but a bit noisy. 3️⃣ Bearfoot Bistro 🐾 One of Canada’s Top 100 restaurants! French fusion cuisine, beautiful plating, quieter vibe. Tuna sashimi: sweet & tangy 🍣 East & West Coast oysters (big, but still miss $1 East Coast happy hour oysters 😂) Foie gras parfait: silky and rich — no more FOMO from the CA foie gras ban! Alberta lamb chop: tender and flavourful Baked ice cream 🔥 – the perfect finish 🏨 HOTEL: Westin Resort & Spa 2-min walk to Whistler Gondola & Excalibur Gondola 🚠 Ski valet at the base – drop your gear and grab a drink 🍻 right after skiing! Already missing the perfect snow and vibes… Bay Area folks are jealous of Vancouverers! Will definitely be back ❄️❤️ #WhistlerSki #WhistlerFood #WhistlerHotel #SkiWhistler #WhistlerBC #FoodieGuide #WinterGetaway 🎿🍷⛷️
