🇨🇦 Whistler|My Whistler Food Guide
I’ve visited Whistler several times over the past year. I used to think it was a food desert — until I did some research this time! Turns out there are more tasty options than expected 😋 🥪 Provisions Highly recommend the breakfast egg sandwich — the fried egg was a delicious surprise! 🍳 Though pricey (like everything in Whistler 😅), it’s totally worth it for a great breakfast. 🥧 Purebread A popular bakery with several locations in Vancouver too. Their pastries look extremely sweet (almost too much!), but they’re actually perfectly balanced — not overly sugary and totally addictive. You have to try it to believe it! 🍲 KA-ZE Known as Whistler’s most authentic sushi spot 🍣, but we tried their Japanese hot pot. It was the lightest and healthiest hot pot I’ve ever had — certified “authentic” by my Japanese boyfriend! Options include shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, and more. A bit pricey and portions are modest, but having hot pot in snowy Whistler is just ❤️🔥! 🍽️ Bar Oso A go-to for dinner — Spanish tapas-style 🫒 Everything we tried was flavorful (a tad salty if you don’t drink, but still highly recommended!). 🍬 Fuji Market A cute Japanese convenience store 🏪 Prices are noticeably higher than in Vancouver, but they have a good selection of ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and even hot drinks! Definitely a nice surprise. 🍦 Cows Ice Cream I always stop by Cows when I see one 🐄❤️ Their ice cream is never too sweet or heavy — every flavor I’ve tried has been a win! 💡 Pro tip: Some Whistler restaurants offer great prix fixe menus during the off-season.
