🏞️ Yellowstone & Salt Lake City Accommodation Recommendation 🪞✨
📍 Holiday Inn Express Salt Lake City Downtown, an IHG Hotel 206 S W Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 🏨 This 3-star hotel offers breakfast from 6-9:30 AM on the first floor 🍳🥯. The rooms are clean, tidy, and decorated in a modern style. Their cheese omelet, biscuit, pork sausage, scrambled eggs, and walnut muffin are all pretty tasty! 😋☕ The next day, the breakfast options changed a bit—western omelet, turkey sausage, hash brown, and blueberry muffin were served. You can also toast a bagel with cream cheese or make your own pancake! 🥞🧈 The hotel has shared laundry machines and dryers, plus a 24-hour gym 💪🧺. A twin room costs around $220 per night. Great value for money! Compared to Sheraton, I’d definitely recommend this one. ✅💰 📍 Bonneville Salt Flats 🌟 Drive 2 hours from Salt Lake City to reach the stunning Mirror of the Sky at the Bonneville Salt Flats 🚗💨. Along the way, you’ll see expansive salt fields. We parked near the "Bonneville Salt Flats" sign and had lunch there 🥪🧴. The white "sand" is super soft, with a thin layer of water covering parts of it. There are also a few scattered blue pond-like areas perfect for photos! 📸🌌 📍 Mom’s Kitchen 2233 State St, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 🌟 Originally wanted to try Great Wall Restaurant for Chinese food, but it was closed that day 😅… So we chose Mom’s Kitchen instead. This place is popular! Even on a Wednesday at 7:30 PM, we had to wait 40 minutes to get a table—and lots of Americans were eating there too! 🕗👥 Most dishes are Sichuan-style—great for those who love spice! 🌶️🔥 Note: They don’t serve alcohol because the restaurant doesn’t have a liquor license. We ordered: • Cucumber salad 🥒 • Fish with chili bean sauce 🐟 • Spicy cabbage 🥬 • Savory shrimp 🍤 • Eggplant in garlic sauce 🍆 The eggplant and shrimp were especially delicious! Five dishes cost only 83. With tip, it came to 100. Totally worth it! 🎉💵 #SaltLakeCity #SaltLake #SaltLakeCityTravel #SaltLakeCityFood #SaltLakeCityGuide #YellowstoneNationalPark #YellowstoneFood #USATravel #USATourism #NationalParks #EatPlayExploreUSA #YellowstoneNP #MirrorOfTheSky #USNationalParks #TravelUSA #BudgetTravel #FoodieAdventure #SichuanCuisine #RoadTrip
