๐ Holiday Inn Express Salt Lake City Downtown, an IHG Hotel 206 S W Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 ๐จ This 3-star hotel offers breakfast from 6-9:30 AM on the first floor ๐ณ๐ฅฏ. The rooms are clean, tidy, and decorated in a modern style. Their cheese omelet, biscuit, pork sausage, scrambled eggs, and walnut muffin are all pretty tasty! ๐โ The next day, the breakfast options changed a bitโwestern omelet, turkey sausage, hash brown, and blueberry muffin were served. You can also toast a bagel with cream cheese or make your own pancake! ๐ฅ๐ง The hotel has shared laundry machines and dryers, plus a 24-hour gym ๐ช๐งบ. A twin room costs around $220 per night. Great value for money! Compared to Sheraton, Iโd definitely recommend this one. โ ๐ฐ ๐ Bonneville Salt Flats ๐ Drive 2 hours from Salt Lake City to reach the stunning Mirror of the Sky at the Bonneville Salt Flats ๐๐จ. Along the way, youโll see expansive salt fields. We parked near the "Bonneville Salt Flats" sign and had lunch there ๐ฅช๐งด. The white "sand" is super soft, with a thin layer of water covering parts of it. There are also a few scattered blue pond-like areas perfect for photos! ๐ธ๐ ๐ Momโs Kitchen 2233 State St, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 ๐ Originally wanted to try Great Wall Restaurant for Chinese food, but it was closed that day ๐ โฆ So we chose Momโs Kitchen instead. This place is popular! Even on a Wednesday at 7:30 PM, we had to wait 40 minutes to get a tableโand lots of Americans were eating there too! ๐๐ฅ Most dishes are Sichuan-styleโgreat for those who love spice! ๐ถ๏ธ๐ฅ Note: They donโt serve alcohol because the restaurant doesnโt have a liquor license. We ordered: โข Cucumber salad ๐ฅ โข Fish with chili bean sauce ๐ โข Spicy cabbage ๐ฅฌ โข Savory shrimp ๐ค โข Eggplant in garlic sauce ๐ The eggplant and shrimp were especially delicious! Five dishes cost only 83. With tip, it came to 100.
