We started late at 11 AM and faced long entrance lines—only had time for 2 stops! 🕚 Due to heavy traffic, staff waved a batch of cars in for free (holiday surprise? 🎁). Zion is open year-round, but Mar-Nov (peak season) requires free shuttles. It’s a hiker’s paradise— days to explore thoroughly! ⚠️ Key Tips: 📵 No signal inside: Download maps or grab free paper maps. 🚻 Restrooms: Mostly portable toilets—bring hand sanitizer/water. 🚌 Free shuttles: Zion Canyon Scenic Drive (main attractions) Springdale Line (hotels/town) 🅿️ Parking: Visitor Center fills early—try Stop on Zion Canyon Drive if full. 🎄 Holiday hours: Last shuttle uphill at 3 PM, downhill at 5:45 PM (check for updates). 🥾 Top trails: Angels Landing: Permit required for chains section. The Narrows: 8-mile water hike (chest-deep water—not for kids). 🚶 Our Route: 1️⃣ Zion Canyon Overlook Trail Parked roadside → 1-hour round trip hike (easy if dry). 2️⃣ Visitor Center Took shuttle to Stop (Temple of Sinawava) for The Narrows entrance (45-min ride).
