Before anything else - MAKE A RESERVATION! We learned this the hard way! Arrived at 4pm on Saturday only to be told they were fully booked until 5pm. Luckily we'd made an online reservation before leaving - saved the day! 🥗 Starters Steamed Mussels & Clams The white wine broth had a strong alcohol kick but was deliciously briny. Comes with crusty bread for dipping (and yes, you can ask for more bread!) House Greens ($9) Light and refreshing with a tangy vinaigrette - perfect for anyone watching calories. 🍔 Mains Uli's Burger 4.0 (+bacon) Server claimed this was "BC's best burger with bacon" - and it's pretty damn good! Juicy patty with creamy goat cheese (note: ask to omit if you're not a cheese fan). Only complaint - could use more sauce. Uli's Paella One of the better Spanish rice dishes I've tried locally! Generous seafood (scallops, clams, salmon) though the white pepper flavor is quite prominent. Huge portion - easily feeds two. 🍅 Bonus Their house-made ketchup is less sweet with brighter tomato flavor - I loved it but my partner didn't. Verdict: 100% worth visiting (with a reservation!).
