🇦🇪 Had delicious mandi in Dubai

🍎I wanted to try the famous Zam Zam Mandi, but there wasn’t one near my hotel. So I searched for a nearby restaurant with "mandj" in its name around MOE. I figured it couldn’t be bad, especially since it had a 4.8 rating on Google Maps!🥩🥩 The restaurant is small but has a lot of options, with various types of meat. I went specifically for chicken mandi, but there were so many choices that I asked the staff for a recommendation.🥝🥝 🥮 She explained that mandi is steamed, madhbi is grilled, and haneeth is fried—all are good, but her favorite is the grilled one. Since I thought grilled chicken might be too ordinary, I opted for the fried version.🍪 🍕The fried chicken was dry with a mild seasoning and a bit tough. I guess mandi would be better for those who don’t like dry chicken! I had a bowl of hot soup, which tasted like curry-flavored chicken soup.🍒🍒 🍐It was salty but quite tasty! On the right was a coriander chili sauce—I’m a coriander lover, so I absolutely adored it 😭. 🍶It was so good! On the left was tomato, which tasted like a tomato salad. Everyone got a huge plate, and I didn’t see anyone finish theirs. There was also chili sauce on the table; pairing different flavors together made it not greasy at all. The side dishes also helped cut through the richness.🍻 The portion was so big that anyone could get full, perfect for a hearty meal after a long day of shopping and walking 🤤. 🍣And it was super cheap—only 33 AED! I don’t know how it compares to Zam Zam, but I think if a dish is good, it should be good in many places.
