🇦🇹 3-Day Salzburg + Königssee (Day Trip) in Mid-January

We spent four days and three nights in Salzburg for our honeymoon ❄️❤️. What attracted me most wasn’t just Mozart, but the fact that Salzburg is a gateway to the Alps! 🏔️🌟🌟 📍Transport: Booked via ÖBB (cheaper when purchased early!) 1）Flughafen Wien Bahnhof 🚞 → Salzburg Hbf €55.8 for two (including reserved seats) ⚠️ Tickets are checked on trains from the airport. I saw someone fined! Just show your e-ticket to the inspector. 📍Hotel: Hotel Sacher Salzburg It was our honeymoon 💍—check my other post for a detailed review! 📍Salzburg Card: €41/person in the low season. 📍Attractions: Love Lock Bridge 🔒 Right near our hotel—we left our lock there! There’s a supermarket nearby for anything you need. Watch out for a convenience store run by an Asian owner—we were overcharged €1.20! Count your change carefully. Mozart’s Birthplace & Residence 🎹 The birthplace has more exhibits than the residence. Photos allowed 📸! We were lucky to hear live piano—but no recording. Untersberg 🏔️ Take Bus 25 to the end station. Clear but freezing cold! ❄️ For €2, you can mint a souvenir coin (usually €0.50 elsewhere—Alps premium!). I took photos with my dolls 🧸🤳. Windy at the top—dress warm! You can hike up further after the cable car. Easy to climb up, hard to get down—many struggled! Hellbrunn Zoo 🦩 Hopped back on Bus 25. We saw flamingos and other animals! The zoo is very open and kid-friendly 👧👦. Königssee 🌊 A must-visit! Take Bus 840 from the city center directly to Königssee. It stops at multiple platforms—check carefully! Salzburg Cathedral ⛪ We entered in the evening. No ticket check in low season! Candles cost €0.80.
