🇦🇹 Vienna Bites | A Roundup of Chinese Restaurants in Vienna

Took advantage of the weekend to explore several popular Chinese restaurants in Vienna, all hyped on Xiaohongshu. Here’s a little roundup—purely based on personal taste, for your reference (if applicable!). About me: Northern Chinese palate, can handle some spice, not picky at all, loves carbs 🍜❤️. Listed in the order I visited, not ranked by flavor (because I liked them all!). 1️⃣ Teaco 📍 Praterstraße 40, 1020 Wien, Austria Right across from Nestroyplatz U-Bahn station—take the elevator up and you’ll see it! Came for the jianbing—and it did NOT disappoint! Tasty! It’s more like a soft Shanghainese-style egg wrap rather than the Shandong crisp kind, but still super delicious 😋. We also ordered spicy chicken (around €13) and boiled beef in chili sauce (€16.90)—both were flavorful and packed with heat. Highly recommend for spice lovers! 🌶️ 2️⃣ Juli Chinese Kitchen 📍 Friedrichstraße 8, 1010 Wien, Austria Great location right next to Karlskirche. My friend and I were freezing after visiting the church, and this cozy little spot warmed us right up 🥰. We had the shredded pork in garlic sauce (around €14) and the sour soup beef rice noodles (also around €14–15). The pork tasted just like home—authentic and comforting! My friend loved the noodles too—apparently it’s their signature dish. I also tried black sticky rice milk tea (€4.90 I think?). Not exactly like back in China, but still pretty good! 🧋 3️⃣ Tofu and Chili 📍 Linke Wienzeile 18, 1060 Wien, Austria Located near Naschmarkt with tons of Asian supermarkets nearby—no wonder their seasonings are on point 😆. I had the Biang Biang noodles (around €14), my friend had the oil-splashed noodles (€13), and we shared cumin beef (€16). Portions were HUGE—we couldn’t finish! Took the beef home, stir-fried it with more noodles later… so good! 🥢 4️⃣ Chen’s Noodle House 📍 Krugerstraße 7, 1010 Wien, Austria True to its name—this place offers a wide variety of noodles! I had zhajiangmian (€13.90), my friend had braised beef noodles (also €13.90). Big portions again, and fair prices for a city center spot. The noodles had a great chewy, hand-pulled texture 🍜👌. Overall, I’d say all of these are solid choices—no regrets! Around €20 per person for a full and happy Chinese food fix abroad. #StudyAbroadEats #ChineseFood #RestaurantRecommendations #ViennaDining #Vienna #GlobalFoodSquad #FoodieAdventure
