🇦🇹 Vienna Food Recommendations
I’ve been to Vienna three times with different groups of friends. Each visit was pretty rushed—either a layover or mostly museum-hopping 🏛️✈️—but my Chinese stomach still managed to try some memorable spots! Here are my reviews: 🍜 JUli Chinese Kitchen – 4.5⭐️ You have to try their Suan Tang Fei Niu (Spicy Sour Soup with Beef Rice Noodles)! It's super flavorful. 🥵 I brought three groups of friends here—everyone loved it. The broth is deliciously rich. ⚠️ Note: The sour-spicy soup might be too much for some foreigners. Consider ordering milder dishes. They also serve bubble tea 🧋, and the owner is really sweet—she even let us leave our luggage there a couple of times! Highly recommend. 🍥 Japanese Ramen Place – 4⭐️ Solid choice! The tonkotsu ramen was tasty 🍲, and my foreign friends enjoyed it too. ☕ OFFERL – 4⭐️ A local chain café popular with Austrians. The coffee and croissants 🥐 are really good! Simple and reliable. 🍜 Chen’s Noodle House – 3⭐️ This place is hyped on Xiaohongshu, but my experience was just okay. Sometimes you have to wait in line 🕒, and it’s not exactly cheap. The braised beef noodles were underwhelming—pretty bland. It was crowded and not very comfortable. Not the best spot to bring foreigners—atmosphere needs an upgrade. 🍔 FIVE GUYS – 3⭐️ As someone who travels a lot in Eastern Europe, I hadn’t seen this American chain before. They offer free peanuts 🥜, but it wasn’t really my thing. The milkshake was way too sweet—even by U.S. standards. 😅 🍗 KFC – 3.5⭐️ I make it a point to try KFC in every country 🌍! Was pleasantly surprised to find spicy wings in Austria. They’re not exactly like the ones in China, but still pretty good. Great spot to warm up in the city center when it’s cold! ❄️ #ViennaFood #FoodReview #TravelEurope #ViennaEats #ChineseFood #CafeHopping #FoodieTravel #SpicyWings #KFCWorldwide #BudgetEats
