🇦🇺 Cairns 5D4N Itinerary | Copy & Paste This!

(Couldn’t decide between Cairns or the Whitsundays—chose Cairns to "retrieve my childhood tooth lost in the reef" 😂 Here’s how we chilled + adventured!) ✈️ Day 1: Palm Cove & Rusty’s Market Landed at 10 AM → taxi to hotel → Bus to Palm Cove (check timetables! 1-hour intervals). Stopped at Rusty’s Market (tropical fruits, $8 AUD fresh coconuts 🥥). Palm Cove: Gorgeous but "very Hainan vibes" (after CNY trips, wasn’t mind-blown). 🐠 Day 2: Reef Magic Outer Reef Trip Booked on Fliggy (all tours are similar). Snorkeling/Intro Dive = STUNNING! 🏊‍♀️ Gear + lunch provided (food was better than expected!). Guys quit diving after 1-2m ("ears hurt!"), but us girls pushed to the bottom! 💪 Photos: $75 (1 person) / $105 (2) for all, or $20 per pic. 🚣 Day 3: Barron River Rafting Missed Tully rafting (booked out!) but Barron was fun! Fell into the river + floated for 5 mins ("crocs might lurk!" 🐊). 🪂 Day 4: Mission Beach Skydive $379 + $169 for media (worth it!). First to jump! Pro tip: "Think ‘I paid for this—enjoy!’ 😆 BF was terrified (rewatched video 100x), but now "wants to skydive again (but never dive!)". 🥂 Day 5: Lazy Recovery Slept in (thanks to night drinks!). Friends visited Cairns Zoo (tiny—just koalas + snakes). Flew home PM. Final Verdict: Cairns = LOVE! Next time: Port Douglas + Quicksilver cruise, and I WILL book Tully rafting! #CairnsTravel #GreatBarrierReef #SkydiveAustralia #SoloTravel #TravelGuide 🌏✨
