After leaving peaceful Churchill Island, we made a special detour to Geelong on our way to the Great Ocean Road – and it was totally worth it! Geelong doesn’t have Melbourne’s fast pace. It blends history with modern vibes, with century-old buildings and painted bollards along the coast. Just walking around lifts your mood 😌✨. 🌊 Cunningham Pier I was mesmerized by the sea views as soon as we arrived ☀️🌤️. Blue skies, white clouds, a gentle breeze, and the romantic pier structure – super photogenic! 📸 🎡 Giant Sky Wheel Riding a ferris wheel right by the ocean is a unique experience! It’s not super tall, but the view is just perfect – you can see all of Geelong’s coastline 🏖️. The vibe is 10/10! 💯 🍱 Ilza Japanese Cafe Tucked away in a quiet street, this cozy Japanese café is a real gem 🏮. The food is made with heart – we ordered several dishes and every one was delicious 🍙🍵.
