Today I joined a medium-sized tour group (~AUD 800/pax, excluding zoo tickets 🎫) for an unforgettable adventure! 📍 First Stop: Puffing Billy Steam Train Breathtaking scenery during the 1-hour ride 🌳 Everyone dangled their legs outside—so refreshing! Ended at a lakeside visitor center (see P4 for the stunning view) 📍 Second Stop: Maru Koala & Animal Park Optional entry (AUD 30/pax). Some call it "overrated," but I loved it! 🤩 Highlights: 🦘 Hand-fed kangaroos (super friendly!) ✂️ Sheep shearing show 🐨 Photo ops with koalas 📍 Final Stop: Penguin Parade Sat by the ocean at dusk waiting for little penguins to waddle ashore 🐧 Watched hundreds march up the hill—absolutely adorable! 💡 Verdict: Perfect day trip from Melbourne!
