🇦🇺 Silverswift Great Barrier Reef Review
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I visited in June — a bit chilly but still okay for snorkeling! ❄️🤿 The reef itself was stunning: clear water, healthy corals up close, and tons of fish 🐠🐟. Exactly as recommended! I was hesitating between Silverswift and another more expensive tour (which I skipped due to budget), but Silverswift delivered great underwater views. So why not 5 stars? 🚤 The boat was extremely rocky! I’ve been on many tours, but this was the first time I got so seasick I couldn’t stand and threw up multiple times 😵💔. Maybe it was because I had my period that day, but still — the ride was rough! I missed the first snorkel session because I was too dizzy. For the second, I forced myself in — because hey, you can’t miss the Great Barrier Reef! 🌊 Crew support was minimal — very DIY vibe. They focused more on divers and didn’t really check on snorkelers. One guy even gave me a judgy look every time I felt sick… not cool dude 😒 My friend tried diving, but she said the views were similar to what I saw snorkeling. It really depends on the dive spot! Overall — still worth it! If I’d felt better, it would’ve been amazing. Three snorkel sessions felt like too many — I only did two and was exhausted. Two girls on board slept like logs after the last dive 😴💤 💡 Recommendation: If you can, choose a more stable boat like Evolution or go for the premium option if budget allows! #GreatBarrierReef #Cairns #Silverswift #AustraliaTravel #Snorkeling #TravelReview #SeasicknessWarning 🚢💙
