šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗ Toowoomba Flower Festival One-Day Photo Trip Guide

On Sunday, I drove with friends to Toowoomba for the flower festival. Maybe it’s because I’ve been in Brisbane for too long, but I’m growing fonder of bright, colorful flowers! The variety and layout of the blooms were harmonious—vibrant yet naturally elegant, and it really lifted our moods! We checked many guides, and I’ve summarized the spots worth visiting and those to avoid šŸ™…: 🌷 Queens Garden: Located right in the heart of Toowoomba and the main venue of the flower festival, it’s absolutely worth a visit! It can be a bit challenging to take portrait photos here due to some restrictions on poses, but you can still get great shots. The camera just can’t fully capture how beautiful the flowers look under the sunlight—it’s a must-see! šŸŽ  Queens Park: The garden is actually part of this larger park. It’s a great place for picnics and bringing your dog—the grass is vast and clean. Maybe because of the carnival, there were also funfair rides similar to Ekka. We tried the swings and the Ferris wheel šŸŽ”, and there were thrill rides we didn’t dare to try. Fun for those interested! 🄩 The Cube Hotel: A very famous local steakhouse, known for its sizzling stone-grilled steaks. The Wagyu steak is highly recommended—juicy and tender!! One bite and you’ll crave more. The fries and salad are refreshing and filling. A set meal with fries and salad is around $55. We tried other dishes, but this one is definitely the best value! āŒ Spots to Avoid: Japanese Garden: Too small, crowded, and hardly any good photo angles. Better to visit Mt Coot-tha Botanic Garden in Brisbane. Lookout: Disappointing—can’t even see a full view of Toowoomba, just a flat-topped mountain. I call it ā€œToowoomba Table Mountainā€. As the weather gets hotter, even two attractions wore us out. Enough for elderly and children. Flowers wilt quickly under the heat—recommend going early in the day! 🚌 Transport: My friend was heading to an internship in Toowoomba and joined me for the trip. We booked one-way bus tickets back to Brisbane on the Greyhound website—affordable and convenient. The bus goes directly to Roma Station without transfers, perfect for a quick nap 😓. These are my tips—I hope they help, and I highly recommend visiting! #Australia #Toowoomba #WeekendGetaway #FlowerFestival #TravelTips #ExploreQueensland
