🇧🇦 Sarajevo's Hidden Gem Restaurants: Only 5-8€ Per Person!

After spending a few days here trying both spots and local gems, here’s my take: If the menu looks overly fancy, it’s probably overpriced and might teleport you straight back to British "cuisine" (same goes for Mostar 😅). 🏠 Konoba Fakat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📍 Bravadžiluk 23, Sarajevo 71000 Ate here two days in a row! Arguably Sarajevo’s best—hidden in an alley with a simple menu. Must-order: Two lamb dishes (zero gaminess!) Veggie chicken soup (hearty and flavorful) 💰 ~8€ per person. Each dish comes with rice—2 dishes are perfect for two. Try the fish (6€) for natural flavors. 🏠 Dženita 📍 Ćulhan 3, Sarajevo 71000 My first meal in Sarajevo! Skip the dumplings (meh), but the beef topping is stellar. Order extra rice (soft and moist—if you don’t mind that texture). The soup (refer to Pic 5) is a must-try! 🏠 Ćevabdžinica Zmaj Titova A grill spot! Don’t miss: Beef kidneys (5€ for large portion)—even offal-haters will love this! Perfect fat-to-meat ratio. Local sausages (small portion to try). ⚠️ Avoid the beef skewers (dry and tough). 🚫 Klopa Felt like being back in the UK 🫠. Just plain grilled stuff—no marination, no soul. #StudyInUK #SarajevoFood #SarajevoTravel #BosniaTravel #BosnianFood #VisaFreeTravel
