š§š¦ Sarajevo Food Recommendations š„
I genuinely think Bosnian cuisine suits my taste perfectly! Hereās a dedicated food guideāhehe! ā ļø These are purely personal preferences: SACās Burek ā āBest burek in the world!ā Different from the one I tried in Novi Sad. Sold by weight, and itās incredibly delicious with cream poured over it. ZELJO Branch 2ās Äevapi ā The best Äevapi Iāve had in Bosnia! There are three branches with the same name, but Branch 2 is the tastiest. Must. Go. To. Branch. 2! (Itās not on Google Mapsānavigate to Branch 3 and look around the corner for Branch 2. Ask for extra kajmak cheese!). Teahouse DZIRLO ā A cozy, grandma-style teahouse. Perfect for afternoon sun, reading, or chatting. Their teas are unique (~5 BAM for a large pot). I tried a cocoa teaāunlike any Chinese tea š„°. Winter special: Saleb (smooth cinnamon milk like hot cocoa!). P.S. Close to Yellow Fortressāgreat for sunset after tea! Imaret Bakery ā My absolute favorite bakery! Went dailyācheap and diverse š«¶. Hard to find on Google Maps, so Iāve added a guide below. Bosnian Cuisine Hadzibajric ā Authentic Bosnian food. The ordering style reminded me of Hunan noodle shops back home! Packed with locals. I tried the traditional soup Begova Äorba, and they serve many other classics. ZLATNA RIBICA ā A pub recommended by hostel friends! quirky decor, chill music, perfect for drinks and chats. Wanted to go with a crush, but it was full š. Call ahead to reserve! (Closes at midnight). Thatās my personal list! Hope it helpsāenjoy Sarajevo! š„° šš» Pro tip: Ask ChatGPT for local dish recommendations while traveling. I tried it this time, and it was spot-onāeven led me to places mostly frequented by locals! šš» #SarajevoFood #Sarajevo #BosniaTravel #FoodRecommendations #SarajevoRestaurants #SarajevoGuide
