🇧🇪 Belgian Seafood Restaurant on Long Island, New York
🤩 After shopping at Roosevelt Field Mall, we saw a recommendation on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) and decided to try it out on a whim. We were so surprised! It was amazing!!! 🍴 : waterzooi 👨🍳👩🍳 When we arrived, it was very crowded. It would be better to make a reservation in advance. 🦪 Blue Point Oysters: 🦪🦪🦪 So sweet and fresh!!! Not fishy at all. They are supposedly a local Long Island oyster variety. 🍲 waterzooi: 🦐🦐🦐 Seafood combo, so good!!! This was our favorite dish. Except for the lobster on top, which seemed like it was frozen and not very tasty, the other seafood was delicious! And the soup was also very flavorful!! Soaking the provided baguette in the soup for a bit was simply divine!!! 🍝 Fra diavlo: 🖤🐙 Spicy squid ink pasta. This was a bit disappointing. The pasta didn’t absorb the flavor at all and was quite bland… However, the seafood portion was very generous. At first glance, it even seemed like there was more seafood than pasta. 👍👍 Overall, it was still pretty good!! The seafood was fresh and delicious, and the interior decor was retro and beautiful. But the portions here are HUGE, so don’t order too much. Two people ordering one appetizer + one main course is probably enough.
