🇧🇪 Ghent, Belgium | A Must-Visit Hidden Gem Restaurant for Delicious
After visiting the most famous landmarks in Ghent, such as the Ghent Belfry 🔔, the Castle of the Counts 🏰, the Gothic St. Bavo's Cathedral ⛪️, and the City Hall Square, it's time for a well-deserved dinner. Strolling along the river and through the ancient Renaissance-era buildings, it feels as if time 🕰️ has slowed down significantly. For dinner, we serendipitously discovered this treasure of a restaurant with a 4.5 rating on Google, reviewed by 1413 people. We arrived 15 minutes before the 6 PM opening time and started lining up at the door. Since we didn't have a reservation, the restaurant arranged a table for us with a time constraint: we had to finish by 19:30 because the next guests were expected then. We readily agreed and entered the bustling hall. The waitstaff were not only attractive but also very friendly, greeting you in both English and French with ease. The restaurant's unique menu, presented on playing cards 🃏, added a touch of whimsy to the experience. The wine list 🍷, beverages 🥤, main courses, and desserts 🍧 were each printed on different cards: spades ♠️, hearts ♥️, clubs ♣️, and diamonds ♦️. Their Belgian-style dishes were impeccable, with no disappointments. Every dish was nearly perfect, especially the various beef dishes 🥩, which were incredibly fresh and tender, with top-quality meat. All the dishes in the photos would leave you speechless with each bite. Feel free to show the photos to the waitstaff and order the same dishes! 🏬 Mémé Gusta 📍 Burgstraat 19, 9000 Gent, Belgium #TonightsDinner #Ghent #GhentFood #GhentExploration #GhentTravel #GhentGuide #GhentRestaurants #BelgiumGhent
