🇧🇷 Curitiba, Brazil – A Hidden Gem for Living & Travel! 🌿
I’d heard so many people from different countries rave about Curitiba as a dream place to live—and after just one weekend exploring, I totally fell in love! ❤️ The weather is perfect—mild winters (no freezing temps!) and way cooler than Brasília’s scorching heat. The city is beautifully planned, with sprawling green parks, dedicated bike lanes 🚴, and running paths 🏃♂️ where locals stay active. Birds and capybaras laze around in the sun like they own the place 😌, and everyone I met was warm and friendly. Safe, relaxed, and oh-so-chill—plus, the southern Brazilian accent is weirdly charming, kinda like Beijing’s playful rhotic twang! After traveling across Latin America, only Mexico City and Curitiba made me think, “I could live here!”—CDMX for its vibrant energy, and Curitiba for its peaceful, easygoing vibe. Must-Do’s in Curitiba 🌟 Jardim Botânico 🎍: Stunning botanical garden with classical symphonies playing (Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, anyone?). Local artists sell hand-painted botanical artworks for just R$50—perfect souvenirs! Feira do Largo da Ordem 🎪: Bustling market with Brazilian & European street food. Try sugarcane juice mixed with ginger, passion fruit, or lemon—so refreshing! 🍋 Parque Barigui 🦫: CAPYBARA CENTRAL! A gorgeous park where these chill creatures roam freely. The nearby villas are Insta-worthy 🏡, and the amusement park’s Ferris wheel offers dreamy night views 🎡. Mercearia Fantinato 🍔: Super popular (expect 40+ min waits!). Their beef croquettes, sausage rolls, and beef tartare are solid… but not mind-blowing. Bar do Alemão 🍻: Fun German-style pub for beers and soccer nights ⚽—but skip the food; the schnitzel won’t haunt your dreams (in a good way). #BrazilLife #TravelBrazil #Curitiba #CapybaraCapital #PortugueseLearning
