đ§đ· Holy Burger, SĂŁo Paulo
đ Heard that Holy Burger in SĂŁo Paulo is ranked 5th in the world đ and has won countless awards! Since one of my friends is absolutely obsessed with burgers đ, as soon as I came across it, I knew we had to check it out immediately!â We were in such a rush that we didn't make a reservation đ€Šââïž. Big mistake! We ended up waiting over an hour in line. The restaurant itself is quite small, and there were way more people queuing outside than dining inside. Seriously, make a reservation in advanceâïž Otherwise, you'll be stuck waiting like we were, stomachs growling đș.â My friends all unanimously ordered the priciest item on the menu, the Pony Line đ°. Made with 45 - day dry - aged beef, itâs slathered with a thick layer of sweet sauce. The beef patty is incredibly thick, and when you take a bite, itâs an explosion of juices đ„! I actually really loved that sweet sauceâit was a total game - changer.â I went for The Same Old Blue, and let me tell you, it was a winner đ! Packed with smoky mushrooms, crispy bacon, juicy beef, and just a hint of truffle sauce, itâs a flavor bomb! 𧚠Iâd highly recommend this one. The layers of texture and taste were on another level, and they really didnât skimp on the ingredients.â For drinks, most of us ordered the Yuzu Lemon Tea đ”, but to be honest, I couldnât taste any yuzu at all! It was just a regular, slightly sour lemon tea. In comparison, Iâd suggest going for the Ginger Lemon Tea instead đ. It actually tasted pretty good, and the ginger flavor wasnât overpowering.â Now, Iâll be realâIâm not the biggest burger fan to begin with đ€·ââïž. Maybe I built it up too much in my head because of its ranking, but it didnât feel that special to me. It wasnât bad by any means, but it tasted pretty similar to the burgers at Madero or Outback. And donât even get me started on the friesâthey werenât as good as the freshly - fried ones at Burger King or McDonaldâs đ. Feels like the hype might be bigger than the actual experience...â The average cost per person was around 100 reais. Our bill was higher because we ordered the most expensive burger (85 reais), but there are plenty of more affordable options on the menu. Who knows, maybe those taste just as good!â #SaoPauloBrazil #FoodieDiary #Burgers #RestaurantReview
