✈️ Arrival in the Amazon's Capital In late May, I flew 4 hours from São Paulo to Manaus—the historic heart of the Amazon! 🌿 Founded in 1669 (350+ years of history!) Once the global rubber export king 🏆 Now a tech manufacturing hub (thanks to Brazil’s tax incentives) Our company’s factory is here—though logistics are tough (slowor pricey 💸) 🐟 Fish, Fish & More Fish! Lunch at the hotel: Local fish (Manaus’ specialty!) Dinner: More fish (already sensing a theme… 😅) Day 2 highlight: Tambaqui fish at a buzzing restaurant—surprisingly delicious! 🏭 Factory Visits & Local Life Toured two factories (including ours) Friday traffic chaos 🚗💨 but the massive shopping mall felt like an oasis (very China-like!) Dinner at a steakhouse: Juicy + smoky(Brazilians eat late—we were the early birds at 8PM!) 🌊 Coming Up: Amazon River Adventure!
