🇨🇦⛪️ Montreal Travel Guide — Perfect for Lazy Trip Planners!

🌹 Montreal doesn’t feel like a typical Canadian city—it’s more like a slice of France with elegant architecture, artistic vibes, and a touch of romance. ✈️ ~1.5-hour flight from Boston 💵 Credit cards are widely accepted. No need to carry too much CAD cash. 🚦 Easy to get around! Most attractions are within walking distance. Uber is affordable—~¥200 from the airport to downtown. 🏨 DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal: ~¥1300-1800/night. Location 💯—5-15 mins walk to major sights. Modern design, spacious rooms. ☁️ August weather is pleasant—~25°C during the day, ~15°C at night. T-shirts + shorts + light jacket 👌 🗺️ Day 1: Chinatown lunch → Notre-Dame Basilica → Crew Collective & Cafe → Underground City → Old Port → Old Montreal → AURA Experience at Notre-Dame Notre-Dame Basilica: Visit outside during the day, see the light show at night. Absolutely spectacular—feels like a divine experience! 🎟️ Buy tickets online in advance (~¥185). Shows at 18:00/20:00. Arrive 30 mins early to get central seats. No photos during the show 🙅🏻‍♀️ Crew: A stunning café in a converted old bank—great for photos, but food/service is just okay. Underground City: Photo spot at Rue du Square-Victoria 📸 🗺️ Day 2: Premium Outlets Montréal → Eaton Centre 🛍️ Outlets: Pretty small. Only found good deals at Aritzia. Eaton Centre: Wanted to buy Canadian Goose 🪿 and lululemon, but with 15% tax, prices weren’t that great. 🗺️ Day 3: Mile End St-Viateur Bagel → Café Olimpico → McGill University → Mount Royal → Khao San Resto Thai St-Viateur Bagel: Montreal’s most famous bagel shop 🥯. Locals buy bags full to take home! Cash only at Mile End location (~¥10/bagel). For dine-in, go to Mount Royal branch. Café Olimpico: Their tiramisu and latte are a perfect match ☕️🍰 Mount Royal: ~20-min hike from McGill. Offers a stunning view over Montreal 🌆 #Canada #TravelCanada #ExploreMontreal #Montreal #NorthAmerica #Travel #TravelTips #HiddenGems 🇨🇦✨
