🇨🇦🇺🇸 Pittsburgh RoadTrip | A Getaway with My Crush

Decided to hit the road last minute on a long weekend Saturday 😅—Day 1 was basically all driving. ‼️ Avoid crossing the border via Niagara Falls if possible ‼️ Heavy traffic, lots of cutting in line, and extremely long waits. 📍 Duquesne Incline 🚡🎫 The tracks are wooden—still impressive for its time! Great for daytime city views. 📍 Andy Warhol Museum 🌟 ~2 hrs 🎫 More interesting than expected! Lots about Warhol’s artistic journey, commercial works, and fun interactive exhibits. 📍 RandyLand Close to AWM, located in the Mexican War Streets. A burst of colors and positive vibes! 📍 Strip District A bit disappointing—not as good as St. Lawrence Market. Skip unless you need something specific. My crush just wanted root beer 🥤. 📍 Point State Park ⛲ Watched the sunset 🌇—nice but not spectacular. 📍 Duquesne Heights (same spot as the incline by day) Night view 🌃🌉—abs beautiful! (I’m a sucker for city lights!) 📍 Cathedral of Learning 🌟 Guided Tour: 90min 🎫 The Gothic architecture is awe-inspiring. The first three floors were built with only stone and concrete—no steel! The top floor was closed (sadly—was hoping to see CMU from above). The Nationality and Heritage Rooms were gorgeous. Def gives Hogwarts vibes ✅ Drove around CMU after. Sad we missed Fallingwater—last-minute trip = no tickets 😢 【Food】 Primanti Bros 🥪 Local chain, good price & taste. The coleslaw balanced well with the fries and meat. Cafe Moulin Highly rated but just okay. Redstart Roasters ☕ Tried before leaving—pretty good coffee! Pittsburgh doesn’t seem to have many unique foods. We skipped highly-rated restaurants to avoid spending 💸 on potential disappointments. Made me realize how good we eat in GTA, Canada 🥲 #Pittsburgh #RoadTrip #Toronto #Canada #USATravel #TravelDiary #WeekendGetaway #InclineViews #WarholMuseum #CanadianLife
