🇨🇦 "Is This Vancouver Restaurant Edible?" Ep.1 🍝🔍
Inspired by "Is This Guy Marriage Material?", we’re launching a brutally honest food review series—starting with Robba da Matti ("The Unbelievable" in Italian). 📍 Locations: West End, Yaletown, Gastown (we visited Gastown). ⚠️ Vibe Check: • Tiny space (1 server + 1 chef = slow service). • Pastas aren’t made onsite (tiny kitchen = prepped elsewhere). • Prices? Very downtown-core. 💸 🍽️ The Food: • Beef Carpaccio: Solid! (But "beef" = basic cut, cheese = non-DOP). • Pappardelle Rosche: Winner! Handmade noodles + sausage/beef/chicken (beef = Chinese-style braised 😂). • Chef’s Special Spaghetti: Lemon overdose—couldn’t taste anything but acid! 🍋🤨 • Tiramisu ($15): Cocoa powder snowstorm + soggy fingers = meh (but free = tasted better!). 👨🍳 Chef Note: • Turban-wearing chef—no racism, but that lemon spaghetti… why, sir? #HonestEats #VancouverFoodReview #ItalianOrNah #OverpricedButSomeHits
