🇨🇦 Must-visit Hidden Gem French Restaurant in Toronto!! 🍷🥂
Sisters’ carefully selected French spot in Toronto 👯♀️ Although it’s also called L'avenue, this one is totally different from the other one 😉 It’s a local gem opened in 2022—still flying under the radar on Google Maps but packed on the patio when we visited 🌿🔥 🍽️ [L'avenue on Parliament] 📍 583 Parliament St, Toronto, ON M4X 1P9 OMG, my girls nailed the ordering game!! 😍 Zero misses on the menu—here’s my ranked faves (in case you need help deciding 🤤): 1️⃣ 🥩 Ribeye Steak 💰69 | 16oz We got it medium-rare, and WOW—it was chef’s kiss perfection 🔥 Honestly, restaurant steaks often disappoint… either too dry or over-seasoned. But this? Juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned 😋 Not too salty either—just divine✨ 2️⃣ 🦆 Braised Duck Truffle Risotto 💰48 Duck confit so tender it slides off the bone 🦆💫 Mushrooms soaked in rich truffle flavor—chef’s dream 🍄 Bonus: A mini black truffle mashed potato side that’s unreal 🥔💣 3️⃣ 🍤 Shrimp Française 💰29 This appetizer is a MUST 😍 The lemon-butter sauce is so fresh and creamy 🍋✨ Lightly crispy shrimp with that classic tangy kick—addictive!! 4️⃣ 🦐 Spicy Angel Hair Pasta w. Sauteed Tiger Prawns 💰39 Angel hair pasta rarely gets love, but THIS dish slaps 💥 Super silky noodles, giant tiger prawns, and just the right spice level (mild but flavorful!) 🔥🌶️ 5️⃣ 🦑 Fried Calamari 💰26 Maybe saving it for last wasn’t a coincidence lol 😅 Not bad by any means, but not the most memorable either. Still crispy and juicy enough tho 🤷♀️ 6️⃣ 🥗 Tomato Burrata Salad 💰22 Classic caprese vibes with a huge tomato slice 😍 Burrata was creamy but not mind-blowing—solid side dish though 💪 💰 Avg. cost per person: ~$80 Summer patio has some bugs (bring bug spray 🦟) Cabbagetown can feel a little sketchy at night 🚨 But otherwise? Flawless dining experience!! 10/10 would return 💯 #TorontoLife #TorontoFoodie #FoodieAdventures #DowntownToronto #TorontoEats #GlobalFoodies #FineDining #TorontoFrenchCuisine #toronto #torontofood
