🇨🇦 Canada Travel: A Relaxed 2-Day Victoria Itinerary 🌸🦚

Perfect for a spring/summer weekend getaway, here’s how I soaked up Victoria’s charm at a leisurely pace—castle strolls, butterfly encounters, and coastal sunsets included! 🍽️ Food Highlights Shuck Taylor’s: Fresh seafood (sadly no lobster roll that day!). Don Mee (晋美): Classic dim sum—skip if you’re from Vancouver (it’s just okay). 🏨 Stay DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria Spacious suites | Great downtown location | Book early (weekends sell out!). 🚢 Day 1: Castles & Coastal Walks Morning: Ferry from Vancouver → Swartz Bay (arrive by noon). Afternoon: Royal Roads University: *50+ film locations* (e.g., X-Men!) + Hatley Castle (free to explore grounds). Evening: Parliament Building (lit up at night!) → Munro’s Books (gorgeous bookstore). Beacon Hill Park: Wild peacocks 🦚, owls, and hidden fountains (magical golden-hour photos!). Sunset at Dallas Road: Ocean views + Olympic Mountains (USA) in the distance. 🦋 Day 2: Gardens & Butterflies Butterfly Gardens: Hundreds of free-flying butterflies + flamingos/parrots. Wear bright colors (they’ll land on you!)—it’s steamy inside. Butchart Gardens: Half-day needed! Rose gardens, Japanese maples, and sneaky raccoons. Sunscreen must (I got noticeably tanned). 👗 Outfit Notes Dresses: Self-Portrait (perfect for 15-22°C). Shoes/Bag: Charles & Keith + Burberry trench (coastal breezes!). Camera: Ricoh GR III (compact for street shots). 💡 Tips ✔️ Ferry: Walk-on tickets easy to get (no car needed). ✔️ Transport: Downtown = walkable | Far parks = taxi. ✔️ Vibe: Slow-paced with European flair—no big-city chaos! #VictoriaBC #CanadaTravel #WeekendGetaway
