🇨🇦 Checked out Vancouver’s Longest Saltwater Pool! 🐚𓈒𓂂🌊⭒˚🐋
By the seaside in Kitsilano, there’s a piece of summer woven in blue and green🍃 📍 Location: Kitsilano Pool 🪼 Pool Features: ・ Stretching 137 meters—it’s the longest outdoor pool in North America! 🏊 ・ Filled with filtered and heated seawater 🌡️ (Today with an outdoor temp of 28-30°C, the pool displayed a comfy 25-26°C) ・ Divided into family/kid zones, lap swimming areas, and deep water—perfect for relaxing, playing with kids on the slide, or getting a good swim in 👌🏻 🍃 Booking Tips: ・ Open from mid-May to mid-September every year. Opened officially on June 21 this year! ・ Highly recommend booking online in advance—around 80% of spots are reserved online. The remaining 20% are for walk-ins, but they can run out fast during peak times 🥺 (Had to wait 10 minutes at the entrance today since I didn’t book ahead ⏰) ・ Don’t forget a towel & sunscreen! Lockers are available (25¢ per use). ・ Right next to the pool is the Kits Showboat—an open-air stage that sometimes hosts live summer performances. The vibe is unreal! 🤫 Today also happened to be the day of a Chinese cultural festival—floating in the water while hearing Faye Wong’s songs from the stage was absolutely healing 😭💙🤍!! #VancouverLife #VancouverFood #Vancouver #ExploreVancouver #VancouverTravel #VancouverSummer #AroundVancouver #StudyInVancouver #VancouverSwim #OceanVancouver
