πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Cherry Picking Season! Just 2 Hours From Toronto πŸ’πŸšœ

This year we visited the historic Cherry Avenue Farms for our annual cherry-picking adventure! Spread across massive grounds (with tractor rides to the orchards!), this is hands-down the largest U-pick cherry farm in the region. Their cherries? Absolutely divine - the golden varieties are perfectly ripe now and taste like sunshine! 🌞 Why We Loved It: βœ… Shady trees provide cool respite (no scorching sun!) βœ… Jumbo-sized cherries hiding in the middle/upper branches βœ… Provided ladders for hard-to-reach spots βœ… Low branches perfect for little pickers πŸ‘§πŸ’ βœ… Great value - only pay for what you pick (no entry fee!) ⚠️ Heads Up: ❗ Watch your head - those low branches are sneaky! ❗ Basket handles can detach (hold carefully!) ❗ Arrive EARLY - we hit crazy noon lines ❗ SUNSCREEN & water are MUSTS! πŸ’ Pro Tip: Check their website for daily updates - as of July 17th, picking should continue for 1-2 more weeks! πŸŒ… Post-Picking Detour: We stopped at Hamilton's Confederation Beach for sunset (though the coarse sand isn't kid-friendly). Those brave enough can dip toes in the freezing water with the geese! πŸ¦†β„οΈ πŸ“ Cherry Avenue Farms (Perfect summer day trip from Toronto!) #CanadianSummer #CherryPicking #FarmFun #TorontoDayTrip #FruitPicking #SummerMemories #FamilyActivities #PickYourOwn #CherryLovers #OntarioFarms #WeekendAdventure #FoodieTravel
