🇨🇦 Edmonton Food Review|Ratatouille’s Happy Place 🐭❤️

📍 La Petite Iza Finally tried this dreamy French restaurant I’ve been craving! Tucked away in a cozy loft near the university, this place is small but bursting with charm 🕯️🎨. Romantic ceiling paintings, candlelit tables — the vibe is absolutely enchanting! Summer visitors can also enjoy the patio with a view. 📅 Went on a Saturday night — packed! Highly recommend booking ahead. 🍗 Coq au Vin French slow-cooked chicken — HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The chicken leg is incredibly tender — falls off the bone without a knife 🍴✨. Flavor is slightly sweet and tangy with a soy-like depth. Mashed potatoes on the side are also delicious! 🍷 Boeuf Bourguignon Red wine beef stew — a bit disappointing 😕. The beef was tougher than expected and had a slight gaminess. Added fries as the server suggested — dipped in the red wine sauce, it was surprisingly tasty! 🐌 Escargots à la Persillade Classic baked snails — a MUST-TRY! So tender and bathed in the most amazing parsley garlic butter sauce 🧄🌿. Served with crispy baguette — perfect for soaking up every bit of that garlicky goodness! 🍪 They even gave us complimentary cookies at the end! Overall, a wonderful experience — great food, excellent service, and romantic ambiance 💖. They also have an extensive wine list 🍷 — perfect for date nights or a classy drink out! #Canada #CanadianLife #EdmontonLife #EdmontonEats #RatatouilleVibes #FrenchCuisine #HiddenGem #FoodReview #DateNightIdeas #BonAppétit 🥖✨🇫🇷
