⛴️ How to Get There (from Vancouver) Since public transit in Vancouver isn’t everywhere, we took an Uber 🚗 directly to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal Ferries to Victoria (Swartz Bay) depart every hour on the hour ⛴️ Tickets are $20 per person (can be bought on-site) The ferry ride takes 1 hour 35 minutes After arriving at Swartz Bay, take Bus 70 to Downtown (exact cash only—no change given). This bus ride takes about 1 hour. 🏙️ First Impressions Victoria is the capital of BC with a much higher percentage of white population compared to Vancouver European architecture + harbors ⚓️ + ocean views 🌊 + neat North American townhouses 🏡 The city blends a European vibe with a touch of wild North American spirit It’s both chill and friendly, yet dynamic and youthful 🔥 2-Day Power Walk Itinerary 📅 Day 1 (Afternoon): City Walk + Photos 🤳 Stroll around Market Square ➡️ Chinatown (Fan Tan Alley) Browse souvenir shops downtown / street photography Visit the church, Munro’s Books, and Murchie’s Coffee & Tea next door Dinner at Italian restaurant 🍴 Il Terrazzo (reservation recommended) 📅 Day 2: Downtown + Ocean Views 🌊 Morning: Brunch at OEB (popular Vancouver spot) Visit the Empress Hotel 🏨 Join a guided tour of the Parliament Building (free tickets available on-site before 12 PM) Photos at Inner Harbor 🤳 Afternoon: Picnic at Beacon Hill Park 🧺 (deers 🦌 and peacocks 🦚 roam freely!)
