🇨🇦 Food Review No.5 – Steak & Seafood House A steakhouse recommended by my husband’s colleague! Located right downtown by the waterfront 🌊—easy to find, and they validate parking tickets with a $50+ purchase. Drinks We Tried: ❌ Irish Coffee Not a fan 😣… Wanted something warm, but it tasted weird and the cup was covered in sugar—got my hands all sticky. ✅ Hendricks Cucumber Fizz Recommended by the server 🥒—refreshing and nicely balanced! Seafood Section: ✅ Fresh Oysters We got half a dozen—super fresh! 🦪 The garlic dipping sauce was especially tasty. ❌ Clams (Garlic & Wine Style) Big no 🙅… Way too salty with an overpowering wine taste. Couldn’t even taste the natural sweetness of the clams. Main Dishes & Sides: ✅ SISIG FILIPINO STYLE FRIES Tried it out of curiosity—pretty good! 🍟 The fried pork bits were crispy and not greasy, though a tad salty. ✅ ROASTED CARROTS Surprisingly delicious! 🥕 Roasted carrots served with soft tofu purée and homemade mushroom sauce—super fragrant! ✅ ROOT BEER GLAZED PORK BELLY Really enjoyable! 🐖 The pork was tender and felt like it was braised before searing—not overly fatty. Definitely recommend. PRIME AGED NEW YORK STRIP LOIN A decent steak 🥩, but nothing extraordinary. No major complaints, but no wow factor either. Overall, it was just okay—not super impressive. If you still want to try, maybe go during Happy Hour for better deals!
