🇨🇦 Food Review No.8 – Hidden Gem Brunch in Nanaimo!
This is a super small brunch spot, but the food is absolutely amazing! 👍 Portions are a bit small though—still totally worth trying if you’re in Nanaimo 🍽️. We ordered a latte—NOT recommended 🙅☕. The foam was really rough, worse than what I make at home. Better to just go with black coffee! ✅ Duck Confit Eggs Benny Confit duck eggs Benedict! 🦆🍳 This one’s a must-try. I upgraded to their homemade muffin—nice and chewy! The duck was tender and flavorful. I went with classic hollandaise sauce—can’t go wrong 😋. And the fried potatoes on the side? Seriously awesome! 🥔 Thinly sliced, layered, crispy outside and soft inside with great seasoning. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ✅ Potato Crust Quiche Tasty and unique—haven’t seen this elsewhere! Looks like a small pie 🥧, but the texture is special and delicious. Comes with corn soup that’s rich and sweet 😍, plus their homemade pickles—weirdly perfect together! Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 💡 Friendly tip: This place is tiny and always packed! 🚶♀️🚶🚶♂️ Better to make a reservation or go early—avoid peak hours unless you wanna wait long!
