🇨🇦 Gastown in Downtown Vancouver – Historic British Architecture 🏛️

Visited Gastown today—right in the heart of Downtown Vancouver! When it’s almost the hour, the famous steam clock plays music 🎵, sounding just like an old-fashioned steam train 🚂… super nostalgic and cool! Lots of people were taking photos here 📸, but even on a Saturday, it wasn’t too crowded. The whole street is full of gift shops and restaurants 🎁🍽️, and prices are pretty reasonable. Vancouver’s cost of living feels quite similar to Shanghai’s 💵. It’s better to visit during the day 🌞—nighttime feels less safe. After dark, more unhoused people appear 🚶♂️🌙. And honestly, the unhoused people in Vancouver feel different from those in Seattle.
