π¨π¦ Gimli Day Trip from Winnipeg ππ§π
I took advantage of the Icelandic Festival to revisit the charming town of Gimli again! Since it was a holiday, it felt like the entire population of Winnipeg had descended upon the placeβhah, even finding a parking spot was a challenge! π ΏοΈπ There were numerous stalls lining the streets, offering all sorts of goodies, along with food trucks, a beer garden, and face painting stations. Groups of seagulls circled overhead, while dogs and kids were the most thrilled, running around with joy. πΆπΆπ¦ It was drizzling in the morning, but by noon, the sun was shining brightly, making the 23-degree weather absolutely delightful. It was a day of strolling, eating, and shopping.ππ€© I bought a large, icy glass of lemon-mango juiceβrefreshing! The grilled ribs were incredibly aromatic, tender, and sweet with a hint of honey. The bananarama I got this time was huge, crispy, and sweet in just the right amount. And I highly recommend the fish & chips πβboth the fish and chips were freshly fried, although the wait was a bit long. But oh boy, they were delicious! π Near the yacht marina, there was a milk truck offering free samples of thick, creamy milkshakes. Oh my, another day of indulging in high-calorie treats! π₯€π© #OverseasLife #WinnipegEvents #WinnipegLife #TravelDiary ππΈ
