Gimli Fish Market — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Soooo, my husband & I finally dropped in to the Gimli Fish Market on Dufferin to purchase the products we wanted from our list & we were blown away, not only by their selection, but their prices, are excellent! The Staff were super & helped us with whatever we were looking for! VERY friendly & courteous! Prices are great! Supreme Stir Fry & Niagara Vegetable Mix are GREAT also for the price! And the seafood is soooooo good! We even purchased a $5.00 Vanilla double layer cake..thinking that it wasn't going to be that good for five bucks. But what the heck? We'll try it anyway!! Boy! Were we wrong!! BEAUTIFUL cake! A tad dense, but serve it with some frozen or fresh fruit & you have a winner! Now we are going to give the chocolate one a whirl next week! Will definitely be heading back to Gimli Fish...

Gimli Fish Market on Dufferin is a locally owned retailer which has not abandoned the community that they are located in. Not necessarily going to cater to everyone's tastes, to each their own.
