🇨🇦 Had the most mind-blowing Jambalaya in Toronto! 🥘💥
This year’s 520 💕, my partner and I finally checked off our bucket-list seafood restaurant —New Orleans Seafood & Steakhouse 🤩! The experience was absolutely amazing 👏! Left feeling incredibly happy and satisfied 🥰. This nearly 30-year-old family-run restaurant isn’t just about the delicious food—the owner is a hilarious and warm-hearted uncle who had me laughing nonstop! 😆 Many customers are regulars, exchanging friendly greetings with him. The place oozes elegance and vintage charm, with cozy, thoughtful decor! 🏡✨ ✨ Jambalaya ✨ Their signature mixed seafood rice was the reason we came, and oh boy, it did not disappoint! ⚡ Required 30min of cooking time, but the moment it arrived, the aroma was divine! Richly seasoned, deep flavors—packed with Andouille sausage (so good 😋), chicken, shrimp, and fresh fish bought daily (insanely tender) 👍, topped with mussels and crawfish. Absolutely irresistible—couldn’t stop eating! 🍚🔥 Every other dish was a hit too, plated with care and finesse 👍: Spinach Salad: Tossed in homemade vinaigrette—refreshing and appetizing! 🥗💚 Coconut Beer Shrimp: Obsessed! Juicy, bouncy shrimp paired with orange marmalade—never had this combo before, genius! 🍤🍊 Crab Cakes: Crispy outside, filled with smooth, delicate crab meat. 🦀💛 Shrimp Creole: Tender shrimp simmered in white wine 🍷 and Cajun spices—savory, slightly spicy, unforgettable! 🌶️👌 For dessert, the Beignet was to die for! Crispy outside, fluffy inside, sweet but not cloying—pure warmth in every bite. 🍩🔥 Bananas Foster was aromatic and decadent, while the Pecan Pie was my partner’s fave (not mine—I hate cinnamon, lol). 🙊🍌🥧 #ShoutoutToLocalEats #TorontoFoodie #FoodieAdventures #HiddenGem #DateNightSpot #UniqueEats #GlobalFoodSquad #PrettyPlateClub #TorontoLife
