After a week of exploring Vancouver’s food scene, here are my top picks from the popular restaurants 🍽️: ✨ Pidgin Their foie gras rice is a must-order every time! 🤤 The combination with chestnuts and radish cuts the richness perfectly. The meat sauce Korean rice cakes are uniquely fusion – chewy and flavorful. ⚠️ But note: The location is sketchy with many homeless people around. ✨ Geng Shi Ji (Richmond) A local friend took me here! 🏠 Homestyle Chinese dishes with a creative twist. The fish-flavored eggplant box is incredibly addictive with rice 🍆! Braised beef with sticky rice (zongzi style) is surprisingly tender and delicious. Their stewed chicken is also full of flavor 🐔. ✨ Mott 32 Ate here THREE times in five days – absolutely obsessed! ❤️ Great ambiance and even better food (check my previous review for details!). ✨ Hello Kitty Cafe The food is just okay, but the Hello Kitty ice cream is cute 🍦. The waffle cone has a mochi-like chewiness – fun texture! Super photogenic and girly – perfect for pics 📸. ✨ Mister Artisan Ice Cream (Yaletown) Located in a trendy area with lots of desserts and shops 🛍️. Their crème brûlée ice cream is a MUST-tRY! 🍮 Creamy ice cream with Oreo cake bits and crunchy caramel – heavenly! ✨ WA-Bagel Japanese-inspired creative bagels 🥯. Chocolate and red bean flavors are great! The bagels have a chewy, mochi-like texture – unique and satisfying. ✨ Da Fa Cat Noodle House Tried this near my hotel – unexpectedly delicious! 🍜 The braised beef noodle soup is outstanding – wide, chewy noodles in authentic Shanghainese-style broth. Generous meat portions and great value! ✨ Potato Corner Finally tried this after seeing US influencers rave about it! 🥔 Their fried potatoes are NEXT LEVEL – crispy outside, soft inside. The twisted fries and tater tots are addictive!
