It’s rare for a fine dining restaurant to make me want to come back and try everything on the menu – but this place did it. And not a single dish disappointed! 😋🍝 We ordered the Lobster Pasta and the Grilled Sea Bass – both were incredibly flavorful! You have to try them. 🐟 The sea bass came with a red pepper-tomato sauce that was tangy and slightly spicy. It reminded me of that famous burnt pepper sea bass dish from Yi Fan Feng Shen – so good lol! 🌶️🍅 The drinks were also amazing! I tried the Kinomé – a toasted sesame oil-washed whiskey with shiso and aloe. It was genius 🥃💡, and tasted like a refreshing summer day. If you make a reservation, definitely ask for the Chef’s Counter! You can watch the kitchen in action 🍳 (it’s like real-life Hell’s Kitchen!), interact with the chefs, and hear about the inspiration behind each dish. If you live in or visit Victoria, don’t miss this place! I only wish I’d tried it sooner.
