๐จ๐ฆ Montrealโs Coolest Water Experience ๐ฆ
Finally checked out the highly recommended Parc des Cascades โ and it did NOT disappoint! This place is like a VIP spa gifted by nature ๐๏ธ. Layers of rock formations create natural pools where water flows through, offering the perfect natural jacuzzi experience with mini waterfall massages ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฆ. You can literally sit in a calm little pool all day or venture into stronger currents for more fun! One section has seriously fast-flowing water โ like a natural water slide ๐ข โ short but surprisingly thrilling! Climbing over the uneven, slippery rocks also doubles as a rock-climbing workout ๐งโโ๏ธโฆ definitely got my steps (and splashes) in! Below, thereโs a calmer lake perfect for swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding ๐. Even as a non-swimmer, I felt safe wading in โ the depth is beginner-friendly ๐. You can also have a barbecue or picnic on the large grassy area above ๐๐งบ. But fair warning โ itโs not all perfect: โ ๏ธ There are no fixed paths โ you walk barefoot on wet, uneven, and steep rocks. I almost slipped more than once ๐ . Wear water shoes with grip! โ ๏ธ The water isโฆ natural. Expect algae and rocks. Not crystal clear, and your feet might feel it afterwards. ๐ซ Your ticket gives access to THREE spots: 1๏ธโฃ Parc des Cascades (natural pools + rapids + wild swimming) 2๏ธโฃ Rawdon Beach (sandy beach + swimming zone + lifeguards ๐๏ธ) 3๏ธโฃ Parc des Chutes Dorwin (saved for next time!) We also went to Rawdon Beach โ totally different vibe! People sunbathing, reading, kayaking, SUPingโฆ so chill โฑ๏ธ. Open until 7 PM โ plenty of time to relax! ๐ What to bring: Non-slip water shoes, sunscreen, swimsuit, water + snacks, and a blanket for picnics! Perfect Montreal summer escape โ highly recommend! ๐ #MontrealLife #ExploreMontreal #LifeInCanada #SummerVibes #WaterFun #Paddleboarding #TravelDiary ๐โโ๏ธ๐ธ
