🇨🇦 Montreal 2-Day Itinerary Guide
Just explored Montreal – a charming and cozy city! Despite the chilly weather (rainy Day 1, cold Day 2), it was a delightful trip. Here are the spots I visited, ranked: 🌟 Attractions & Ratings 1️⃣ Old Montreal (Vieux-Montréal) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quaint art galleries and eateries. Perfect for a leisurely city walk. 2️⃣ Notre-Dame Basilica ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (MASTERPIECE!) "The most stunning church I’ve seen in Canada – blows Ottawa & Quebec City’s out of the water!" Missed the 6PM light show, but the interior alone is worth it. 3️⃣ Old Port (Vieux-Port) ⭐⭐ Just a few docked ships. But! Cirque du Soleil has shows there – book ahead if interested. 4️⃣ McGill University (Downtown Campus) ⭐⭐⭐ Pretty architecture for a quick stroll. 5️⃣ Mount Royal Park ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Took the steepest trail (ouch, my legs!). Pro tip: There’s a parking lot near the lookout – wish I’d known! Forest walks + skyline views = bliss. 6️⃣ Saint Joseph’s Oratory ⭐⭐⭐ 8-floor church (elevator available). Nice exterior, but pales next to Notre-Dame. 7️⃣ Montreal Botanical Garden ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (FAVORITE!) Spent 3+ hours exploring – Japanese & Chinese garden pavilions are highlights. "So jealous locals get to visit regularly!" 🚗 Driving Tips • Download the parking app: P$ Mobile Service (change language settings – no screenshot translating like I did! 😅) #MontrealTravel #CanadaLife #ExploreQuebec #Wanderlust
