🇨🇦 Montreal City Walk |
My first summer trip to Montreal — and I’m officially declaring: this city is absolutely stunning! Spent two days walking 10,000+ steps daily, eating and exploring along the way. The culture, architecture, scenery, and cleanliness here completely outshine many major U.S. cities. Quick PLOG-style recap 📸: 🏨 Hôtel Gault Just a 6-7 min walk from Old Port. Book a room with rooftop garden access — the city views are amazing! Highly recommend. 🚶 Old Port City Walk No fixed route — just wandered and popped into cute little shops. Plenty of cafés and restaurants with 4.5+ ratings — all delicious! ☕🍴 ⛪ Notre-Dame Basilica The AURA light show is a must-see! 💫 Remember to book tickets in advance — no photos/videos during the show. 🔁 More Wandering… Day 2: Explored Mile End Café Olimpico: Their affogato is incredible! 😋 Fairmount Bagel: More of a “take a dozen home” spot — no toasting service. My heart broke a little not having a warm bagel 🥯 ⛲ Parc Lahaie A beautiful fountain park near Mile End with plenty of benches. Loved seeing locals reading in cafés or relaxing — such a chill vibe 📖☺️ 🍜 Chinese Hand-Pulled Noodles A must-try! After this, I don’t think I can go back to noodles in Atlanta… no comparison 😭❤️ 🍝 Random Italian Find in Old Port Stumbled upon L’Usine de Spaghetti — had risotto and loved it! #Montreal #RecordTheRomance #CoffeeDiscovery #LiveInTheMoment #Plog #MontrealLife #MontrealGuide 🌸📌
